LEXINGTON, Ky -- Viamedia is excited to announce we have partnered with The Kids in Need Foundation (KINF) to fund school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year for 17 classrooms in underprivileged communities we serve across the US. The donations will benefit more than 400 students across the US, providing the tools they need to succeed in school and the hope for a better tomorrow.
The mission of The Kids In Need Foundation is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. For the 15 million kids who come from families struggling with extreme poverty, getting school supplies can make all the difference in the world to their future success.
"92% of classrooms have students whose families cannot afford school supplies. We're hoping that our donation can give these students a positive start to the school year and ease some of the financial burden many are facing. Ultimately, our wish is to provide hope for the children and parents in these communities," notes Viamedia Chief Marketing & People Officer, Becky Jones.
Viamedia's donation will benefit 17 schools across the US including elementary, middle and special education classrooms.
